Farms out East to go pumpkin picking...
Do any of you know of any good farms to go to tomorrow? We want to go early and then head to the Outlets...thanks!

Go EARLY! Route 25 is a parking lot after like 12pm in Riverhead!

I posted on '08 but we go to the Milk Pail in Watermill for apples and pumpkins. If you go there, make sure you get the apple cider doughnuts. They are heavenly...can't wait to go tomorrow!

I agree...head out here early because you'll be sitting in some major traffic through Riverhead, especially because it's supposed to be a nice weekend.Gabrielsen's and Harbes are both on Rt. 25 in Aquebogue/Jamesport and are pretty popular. Stakey's is in the same area but just off Rt. 25...there's a huge pumpkin sign with 'Stakey's' on it, so you can't miss it. There's another Harbes on 25A too (Sound Ave.)

We go to Helen's Flower Farm, in Riverhead, it's not on Sound ave but it's on a side road, route 105. They have a corn maze too.

DH and I went to Lewins farms a couple weeks ago, and it was really fun. They have apple picking too, as well as a field where you can pick tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant.

I love Lewins Farms! My parents used to take us there over 25 years ago and i still love it. We're taking Dh's daughter and my nieces tomorrow!
