UPDATED! Bridal Store RANT

UPDATE: So my BM picked me up after work & we drove out to the bridal shop. AND whatever I said to the owner on the phone- she personalily fixed the dress & it was ALMOST perfect when we got there. thank god!


Backstory- the bridal shop ordered my bm a dress 6 sizes too big and they were also supposed to order extra length & forgot

Today- she goes to pick up the dress & they added the extra length and there are strings hanging & tiny holes (from pins) in the rouching

bm calls me all upset, I tell her not to take the dress- and I call the shop and speak to the owner- who says its just like the other dresses (bm was picking up my sisters too so she could see right away that they were different) and that my BM came in with an attitude. I now have to go there after work and look at the dresses- like I need this bs less than a month before the wedding!

eta- my bm is not at all someone who would go anywhere with an attitude, but the owner has been downright rude throughout the whole experience with her.

Ahhh!!! That is HORRIBLE!! i can't believe that. I hope everything works out. Sorry to hear it. I'm sure it'll be okay.

Absolutely unacceptable! I'd go there and go Bridezilla on their a s s!
Good call on not picking up the dress... once it's out of the store, they will take NO responsibility.

yea I would love to go bridezilla on them but they have my dress and I am afraid that this woman will hack it to death

OH NO!!!!!

Def. give them some hell...don't take it if they didn't do the job they were supposed. I know you want to be careful be your dress is there...but they still shouldn't sense that you're afraid of them.

I'm having a problem with my bm dresses also. Less than 3 weeks before the wedding and still no dresses. The owner of the salon was supposed to call me today with an update and nothing. I'm trying to let it slide but honestly I just want a realistic answer on what's going on. Why do they need to try and bs with me? So annoying. I hope you work things out tonight and don't have to deal with it anymore!! Good Luck!

Awww sorry to hear that you are going through this. It sounds just like the place where I got my BM dresses at . when you go in today be firm and make sure that they fix the dress for you (no charge of course)
