Which hairstyle? With Poll and Pics

I need help deciding between my two hair trials. Please don't mind my stupid faces in the pics.

Below is my first hair trial. She did this one using hot rollers, and it was very humid the day she did it, so the curls didn't really hold up. If I decided to go with this one, I'm going to have her make it curlier, using the regular rollers (I'd try to have the curls more like I have in the 2nd trial).






Below is the 2nd one. It might look a little messy/frizzy because I totally played around with it and kept touching it. When she did it, she piled a lot of hair up on the top, which I didn't like, so I changed it around, hence the messiness. I wanted a more regular look with this style. If I went with this one, I'd explain to her not to do the piling thing she did, and to do it more of the way I had it in these pics, and then it'd probably look nicer because I wouldn't have to touch it to fix it.

i like the 2nd one but i would go for more bigger looser curls rather than the tight ringlets look. Or the curls a bit different, i know you said more curly but if you want it even curlier than that i would do another trial or something bc what if you dont like it really curly. Very curly hair will make the whole look very different.

ALso you have to make sure your curls stay, you said the first trial it was humid and 2nd trial you played around with it a bit but remember the day of is a VERRRRRRY long day lol, so you need to make sure it stays. Maybe she will need to use a curling iron on your hair. Also what some hairstylists do is curl it with a curling iron, then pin up the curls for a bit and this makes it last longer.

Did you wash your hair before your trial? Clean hair doesn't stay as well as dirty hair. I agree with using a curling iron and pinning up the curls.

I wanted long loose curls but have veeeery straight hair. I tried everything -- washed my hair the day before, didnt use an iron on it, had her use a curling iron and pin up the curls so they can set, etc. it's a very long day (we got ready at 5am, reception was over at 5pm left afterparty a little after midnight) and a few of my curls came out but most of them stayed.

it might be humid on your wedding day

Edit: knowing my hair, my hair person made the curls bigger and tighter than i wanted knowing they would come down in a little bit. in my wedding album i have pictures of my hair when she did it (sooo short and the curls were so tight!), pictures before i left my house, and then pictures from the actual wedding

I prefer the first one although both styles look great on you.

The 2nd one was actually a lot tighter when I left the place. I wanted it loose. She did them very tight knowing it'd come down a bit throughout the day. I went to a wedding last night, and my hair pretty much remained the way it did in the pics of hair trial 2. Curling irons actually don't work on my hair - the curl never stays!

I like the pull back in style #2 but the curls in #1. You need a combo option

I agree. something is missing from #2 but I like the way it looks pulled back off your face.

i pick #1 because #2 is wayy to plain. I feel your hair on you wedding day has to be different than everyday hair.. JMO
you look like really young in the 2nd trial

I like # 1 the best as well!!
It's beautiful and photographs well.
I also like the way it is pulled away from your face... 2 feels like something is missing, JMO
