My Hurricane Shower!

My Hurricane Shower!

So yesterday we had horrible weather, and my family and friends came out (35 people) from Long Island to New Jersey for my shower at the Montville Inn, Montville, NJ.

I cried like 100 times. I cried when I found out I got red velvet cake. I cried when I got the Dyson. I cried when I got the Kitchen Aid Mixer and I cried when I read the sign in book that my lovely bridesmaids made for me.

It was so great. The games. The prizes. The wishing well. The food!! Chocolate covered strawberries in pink and brown made by my MOH. Love Knot cookies made by my bridesmaids. My bridal party went above and beyond.

Worst part was I wore some horrible strapless white bra (this was suppose to be my BRIDAL dress bra!) fearing straps would show under my blouse and instead the WHITE showed through on every photo and kept my boobs planted low against my waist. Really ruined the photos.

Congrats!!! I had red velvet cake too! It's my favorite and was delicious!!!!

And don't you LOVE your Dyson!!!! That thing is the best invention EVER!

The cake was fake red velvet. I talked to everyone and we figured out it was like white cake dyed red. It was 'included' so my mom can't really complain. Ha ha! Oh well, what can you do, right? Not everything can be perfect. It was a great time though!
