Westchester girls - I need your help!

My sister is moving to Westchester. She's going to work in Fishkill, her boyfriend works in Manhattan. What are some nice towns in the middle? He doesn't want more than an hour commute by train, she's ok up to 45 mins driving. Thanks!!

My geography isnt that great, so I'm not sure if this is accurate but White Plains is a really area and there's SO much to do. (2 malls, tons of bars/cafes, resturants, etc.) It's only like 30 mins from Manhattan by train.
