What's on your 'Must Play' list???
So girls, what songs are on your absolute 'must play' list? Cheesy or not, and is there a special meaning to choosing them?My absolute top must play song is Mr. Big, 'Be With You'
It's my FAVORITE song, because I never matured past 1991, and even though it's not a wedding type song at all, I don't care. I also have to have Bon Jovi 'Living on a Prayer' and Journey 'Don't Stop Believing' to round out my 80's songs. In other not really wedding appropriate songs, 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls, because they're my favorite band.
I want Michael Buble 'Feeling Good' played during dinner for some light loungy type music, and maybe a few other Sinatra/Rat Pack old school things when there's no dancing going on.
For the 'fun' music...The Tarantella, followed by the Zorba the Greek song. Naturally.
At some point during the night, 'Call me Al' by Paul SImon MUST be played, because after all, we're Al and Al!
Conversly, what song are on your DO NOT PLAY list? I don't have specifics myself, but I want to limit any rap, hip hop, and r&b to a bare minimum, or if it must be played, to the songs that sample my sister's indy rock songs a la Kanye 'Stonger'

Some of the must have's are Journey, Michael Jackson...only the old stuff, the bee gees, anything disco, anything from the 80's and we want to throw in some latin music also!!NO RAP, NO LINE DANCING...and we're telling the DJ not to take requests, we have such a long must play list that I don't think requests are necessary!
