Ring bearer age

FH and I are having a hard time deciding on our 2nd ring bearer. We had one in mind and now we think he may be too old. I could really use some help and opinions from you ladies. Is 9 too old for a ring bearer??? If yes, tell me why. TIA

We actually have 4 RB and they range in ages from 7 to 1. I don't think there is a cut off age, especially if the 9 year old wants to participate.

Thank you. I was a flower girl and my brother a rb in my aunt and uncle's wedding. We were 10 & 11, so I don't think 9 is a big deal, but FH does.

Mine will be almost 9 by the time we get married so I don't think its too old!

my 10 year old cousin is goin to be a jr. groomsmen. i thought that was too old to be a ring bearer.

i thought my brother was pushing it by having my cousin be the ring bearer at his wedding last year and he was 8.

no i dont think so! Thats better in some ways b/c they will be more likely to behave.
My RB is only 4 and he's an adorable but wild boy! hopefully he will be good for our wedding!
