Is anyone taking precautions for Hurricane (Tropical Storm) Hanna heading our way tomorrow?

I should try and take off from work! Is the rain really supposed to be that bad?

That's what the news is hyping, but I don't know.
There is a school by my house setting up as a shelter in case of emergency. That's a little scary.

uh ooooohhh...my dogs are NOT going to be happy! i actually like storms - but the flooding scares me! and when the winds are that bad, the trees in my neighborhood do major damage since it's all street parking! makes me nervous about our skylights too!

Precautions?? the only precaution I got was my Branch Operations Manager leaving me a message that I still have to go to work.. whateverrrrr

everything in the yard has been put into the basement or tied down securely. not really planning to leave the house but not sure if i should park my on higher ground

We have our candles and flashlights. Tons of bottled water. Out kitties cages ready (JUST IN CASE THE WORST HAPPENS), canned food up the ying yang, and fantasy football mags for DH and smutty books for me!!!

you work overnight right? i think that is going to be the worst time definitely try to stay home!!

I wish DH would stay home but he works very close so I guess its not a huge deal. I am in HB though and there is a very good chance we could flood!
