DJs??? Pricing?

I met with 2 DJs and they were on opposite ends of the budget...One was very low and one was very high, more than we thought we wanted to spend. Would anyone be willing to reccomend their great but affordable DJ?

I am using Level djs. They have a website as well. Leveldjs.com.

Pretty reasonable and will work with you as well. Ask for Joey. He is one of the DJ's on WBLI.

I am using Bravura. They are very 'well presented' and they have lots of options (i.e. live musicians, jazz trio, etc). I found them very reasonably priced

I used Get in Tune Productions!! They were great and my guests are still raving about how great the music was! I highly reccomend them!

High Voltage Sound....extremely reasonable price and he did an amazing job. We loved Vinny!

we absolutely adored our DJ - Ben from Now Sounds. I don't know what your price range was but for cocktail hour and reception he charged about 1400 (i think, although i have to look back again to see). Ben really went above and beyond for us. He didn't play requests by the guests b/c he wanted to make sure the music was exactly what i wanted. He managed to play some songs I requested during the night and at the end, he gave me a CD with music he played at our wedding! Ben really was such a sweet, honest, really good guy. My mom even liked him b/c she said the music wasn't too loud.

High Energy - incredible prices! Listed on his website and he'll work with you. We are paying less than $1500 for Keyboard at CH, MC, DJ, and photo montage with Zap photos taken by another of his empoloyees. He also has a rodeo team which helps him set up.

I used Starlight Express. not as affordable as some, but well worth the extra cost imo. Music was very important to us. And their lighting was better than other DJs we saw.

I'm using 'in the mood' they are a full service dj and they were flexible with price we got 1 dj and 1 mc plus a light show for 1500, but it goes for 1695, i asked and i recieved it pays to speak up. If you have any questions let me know.

look into Spin City. My aunt has used them for parties and I believe her wedding and i like them. I think I am going to book them for mine. I am not sure on the exact pricing but i believe there under $2k

Us too They DJ'd my MOH's wedding and did a great job - plus they knocked off $$ on the price cuz of the referral. They were very willing to work with us on price but they had great prices to begin with.

I want a DJ for around1000-1200 so based on the quotes i'd look at LI Sound, High Voltage, DrBeat

I also am not getting lighting (afternoon wedding) or plasmas or giveaways...
