Re: NWR: How long is your commute?

I drive and it takes about an hour for me to get to work in traffic. In heavy traffic or snow it could take about an hour and a half. On a no traffic day it takes like 35 to 40 minutes.

Re: NWR: How long is your commute?

I use to take the LIRR into Penn and then a subway. My commute was 1.25 hours each way. I would leave the house at 6:43am and get home at night at 7pm

I just started driving in with FH and now I leave the house at 4:30am and still get home at around 7pm depending on traffic.

Re: NWR: How long is your commute?

Usually, if I hit no traffic, it takes me about 40 minutes driving. I live in Selden and work in Deer Park. FH doubles that commute...working in Queens!!

Re: NWR: How long is your commute?

I lucked out with my latest job, I work 5 minutes from home. It's crazy. The bad part is I don't have a 'second 'hood' - like our lunch places are our dinner places. It's great though for dental and doctor appointments though! I also go home for lunch most days
