Missing the Shot...

We are being told by people that if we do not see each other prior to the ceremony (being held at the RH), we will miss all the shots or be pulled out of our party all night long to get the shots. Is this true? Seeing each other prior to the ceremony is not an option for us - we want that 'moment' when I walk down the isle. Can anyone accommodate us?
