Girls who have Brazilian Straightener

Hey grils! So I had my brazilian straightening today! It went well, my hair is so straight now! He said after I wash it and blow it out myself it won't be as straight. So, I was wondering, for the girls who have done this, what shampoo and cond do you use? I know you can't use one that has sodium chloride in it. And is it a kind I can get at CVS? TIA!!

I haven't gotten the straightener... but my hair dresser realllly wants me to lol.. anyway when I brought up the argument of the special shampoo she said Finesse is fine. (I'd double check the contents... but I do trust her)

My friend just got it done and she loves it. I saw her today and she was telling me how quick and easy it is to dry her hair. She didn't mention any special shampoo though.

i got it done and never used a special shampoo or cond... its that time to get it done again... i really loved it

You dont have to use a special shampoo but if you use one without sodium chloride it will last longer...the sodium chloride breaks down the protein. I use Rusk Pure...you can sometimes get it in CVS but I got mine at Ulta...sale they have them buy2 get or something like that and its not that expensive to begin with. There are others just read the ingredients.

Has anyone ever tied japanese straightening? I was thinking of getting it done because my hair gets so frizzy in the humidity and I just can't stand straightening it under the dryer just to have it frizz up! AHHHHHH! Any advice?
