Day of Hair Question
How much are you paying? I was just quoted 200 bucks and I almost fainted, Is this normal????

My main problem is my wedding is a Sunday morning so most places wont open up early enough for me to go plus I am staying next door to my RH in the hotel. I don't know what to do. I emailed a few vendors to see if they happen to have my date available. Keep your fingers crossed for me girls!

Unfortunately, Maximus in Westbury opens at 10am on Sundays, so I have to pay an extra $100 to have them open at 9am so I can get hair & make-up done in time. It toally s-cks, but I decided it'll cause me the least amount of stress

i know 2 amazing and reasonable girls who do hair and came to us at 4:45am on a Sun AM. they are the sweetest girls ever and did an amazing job on my girls! they charged less than half of that
i've used one for 11 years and the other is her partner at the salon who was equally as good -- they worked together to maximize our time (one set my hair, the other styled it, etc)

everyone wanted a variation of down or half up, and they did something different for everyone
my sis, who wasnt in the first pic
the back of my hair from my trial... i dont have any non pro pix of the back of my hair from my wedding day

I am paying 150 for hair and 150 for make-up...try Kacey from Kholouds beauty...even though she is coming to me maybe she could come to you first since I am a little later....
but unfortunately thats the running price.....and I don't have a salon I truly trust

$200 seems really high! i would think $150 would be the absolute max and even that seems crazy...my friend is doing my hair, but at my friends wedding last year we each paid $75 and she paid $85
