Just in case the dress picture doesnt post- here's the link
Diana's Dress

****************UPDATE************************

sorry for the delayed response- I had to leave work early to get a fitting. I spoke to FMIL last night & she said she is having a seamstress make her a shawl or jacket- buuuttt she actually does have an amazing body & will definately be able to pull it off- I was just upset b/c I didnt get to go with her to pick it out. I actually enjoy her company & was looking forward to it- but she explained and it makes sense now- thanks for the fms & everyone's advice- much appreciated!

Re: FMIL's dress

That's a really nice dress if she has the body to pull it off.
Awesome price too!

Re: FMIL's dress

I agree - pretty but she must have a body to pull it off.

I kinda know how you feel - my FMIL is wearing a turquoise dress to our wedding. She was going to wear a greyish-purpleish dress, but when she went to order it, she found another dress she liked more in turquoise. I really hope it's not briught. We are having a fall wedding - my colors are orange and brown, my sister/MOH is wearing brown, my mom is wearing burgandy, and my FMIL is wearing turquoise.

One of those things I just had to give up though and not really care about. I mean, I never questioned her about it - I just gave up the fight in my mind.

Re: FMIL's dress

I think it's a pretty dress but when it can be a bit youthful...it is in the section titled 'Homecoming'. Does she plan to wear a shawl or something?

It's pretty but I think it's a bit young for her age!

I was going to say the same thing.

I would be disappointed too. I did go once with my FMIL to look for her dress, and it was a really nice experience, but she had such a hard time finding a dress that she ended up going many times and I wasn't there when she finally picked her dress and I was a little disappointed too, but I'm sure she looks great in it.

Maybe you can go with her too see her in it, did she order it already? If she did then see if you can go with her for her fitting so you can see it on her.

I was going to ask the same thing....is she going to wear a little jacket or something? It's very pretty, just a little young. If she has a rockin' body to pull it off good for her!
