Do I have to make an appt? FH and I want to go Saturday for him to pick out.

We just walked into the MW Tux at SmithHaven Mall. it didn't seem like you needed to make an appt.

no we just walked in and they took us right away- the store we went to in queens has a dedicated tux person

Go to the one at the South Shore Mall. DH and his guys used them and they were great to work with.

It's on the outside right by IHOP. You don't actually have to enter the mall. 5 rented tuxes and the groom is free!

I didnt even know it was there! Thats definitely where we'll go. I didnt realize there was one closer than patchogue.

FH & I just walked into the Lake Grove store- He looked through some swatches, filled out a form and we were done

You can go on line to their website and as each member of the bridal party gets measured, the info is posted for you to view.

They told us if there are 4 or more people in the bridal party and FH's tux is free. They also give each guy $20 off of his tux rental.

Your guys can go to any store, anywhere to be fitted

Tuxes are picked up at the location you choose. So each guy can pick up his own, in any state or you can tell them you want all tuxes to be picked up at one location that is convenient for you.

1) can the guys get measured at any location?

2) if they get measured at a different location, where do they pick up their tux?

measured at any location. all tuxes are picked up from the location you order from (groom's location)

as for returning the tuxes i've heard 2 things

1) from my dad who said mens wearhouse told him tuxes can be returned to any location after the wedding

2) from FH who said mens wearhouse told him tuxes must be returned to same location they were picked up at

so who knows!

#1 is correct. FH has been in 2 weddings upstate. For both he got measured and picked up the tuxes at one location and then he returned them to a MW upstate. MW gives you such a small window to return the tuxes so returning them to any store is the easiest.

so I have 1 groom, 7 groomsmen, and 2 dads

so I realize i get the free groom rental tux but now 2 of my groomsmen are oot on in cali and the other in NC.

They can obviously get measured at the one near them but they HAVE to be picked up at the location I order them from (which would be in huntington)?? Because I know that 1 groomsmen will not be in NY till the rehearsal dinner day which is 2 days before the wedding what happens if something doesn't fit

1) I believe that they can get measured at any location and in our case, a friend got measured at his tailor (because there were no MW around him) and fh's brought them the measurements.

2) They can pick them up at the easiest location for them. 4 out of 6 of the guys picked theirs up in Patchogue but the other 2 picked them up in Boston.

when they order they specify which location they want to pick the tux up from. the tuxes are picked up 2 days b4 the wedding so there is time for changes if need be.
