Favor idea and question
I actually think this is a cute idea. My FH is a brownie FREAK and anyone that knows him knows that. I wonder if i could hire someone to make these (and package them) and how much it would cost. I know I won't have that type of time right before the wedding. what do you think?Brownie Cake Favor

Re: Favor idea and question
If you click on the link they are actually small. if I had the time it would be so cheap to make but with work, school, internship and regular stuff going on for the wedding I wouldn't dare!

I love the idea! Maybe ask your local bakery if they could do it for you?

Re: Favor idea and question
I was thinking that I might ask. I don't know...just a thought I guess. I thought it could actually look cute on the tables, wouldn't take up that much space, and could be tied with ribbon and a little card.

Re: Favor idea and question
i love it, its a great idea. I agree with you about not making it yourself right before the wedding. youre gonna want them to be fresh so you would either have to do it the day before or 2 days before and then package them and drop them off at the RH. Not sure if you want to do that a day or 2 before your wedding, and remember you'll also have a RD a day or 2 before. Unless you get a big group of ppl to help you with this. My only advice is to make sure then that you dont have anything else to do the day before or 2 days before. I left the packaging of my favors until 2 days before my wedding, it was insane and it was the day of my rd so i also had to finish some when i got home from my rd. Then the next morning had someone come with a van to drop off all the favors at the RH. Just dont leave anything for the last 2 days to pick up, which i had a few things to pick up, and dont have any appts to drop anything off, make any payments or any of that. This way you can dedicate the last 2 days to this.Maybe you can make them 2 days before your wedding but early, and have ppl come help package them that night. Drop them off the next morning at the RH and this way if you have to get your nails done or anything the day before you still have time.
Or go to a bakery and see if they can do this for you

Re: Favor idea and question
I think you'll be best off making them yourself... to save the most amount of money. Once the brownies cool you'll be able to cut them in tiers and otain your little look. Then, you can go to Michaels to get the boxes to put them in. :)And it'll be more special b/c YOU made them.

Yeah, I think it would be nuts doing it myself...if I did one per person it would be at least 155 of those. AHHHHH. I think I'll try asking a bakery.
