Thanks!!!! I'll mention it to her!! I really don't foresee a problem. I think she'll be ok, financially, but she wants to be careful. I'm concerned about having all the $ and not having anything reserved!!!! She was a bit annoyed that she could not reach the wedding sales person at her reception place. I didn't think that was a good sign, wondering how it would be if they actually booked there!!!! Perhaps, if they save, they can upgrade to the Eden, but here again, The Eden books fast. So, it's a wait and see approach. I guess I'll put off planning her Shower. I had already begun to make some calls. Oh, me!!! Mary MOB

Re: Repost about Donna

Everything will work out! I agree maybe January or February may be better BUT I've noticed that major vendors book very quickly. Maybe she should call around and get some prices and go from there? HTH

Re: Repost about Donna

I had the same concerns, that is why we are having a 2 and 1/2 year engagement by the time we are married. We have a house and that is my main priority.

Thanks, Tara!!!! Donna said hopefully their date will still be open next Spring, but if not, they'll push the wedding up to Nov. or whenever. Her FSIL, told her they only booked about 6/8 months in advance, here in Lancaster Co. Mary MOB

Hi, Sachia!!!! Donna desperately wants to stop renting and buy a house, by the end of '09. I think her lease expires each June. Our Grandson will be finished with the local elementary school, in June of '09 and that would be a great time for them to move closer to the Jr. High/HS. So, I think this enters into the planning, when coming up with a wedding date, also. Mary MOB
