Re: Wedding Dress - HELP
its really hard to tell what the dress will look like when you are tiny and trying on samples that are a 10/12 - im 5ft/95lbs - needless to say im very petite - the sample of my dress was HUGE on me and when my dress came in even that was huge on me i think once it fits me it will look fine - i wouldnt worry about something being to much for you - maybe if those dresses were big ball gowns i would say to be careful - but i think when you have a nice figure you can wear anything whether you are short or tall KWIM? i like them both!

Re: Wedding Dress - HELP
#1!! #2 is beautiful of you're 6" but us small people might drown in something so big! #1 is really gorgeus and a bit more classic-good luck!

Re: Wedding Dress - HELP
I actually like the 2nd one. Im about the same size as you and I chose my dress b/c it looked more bridal than an aline dress I tried on. Also if you want poofier you can always add a bigger slip to the 1st one.

Re: Wedding Dress - HELP
They are both beautiful but I prefer #1. I'm small like you and any dresses I tried on with the gathers or pick-ups just completely chopped my body in half.

Both dresses are beautiful... the second one is def. the bigger dress. I know exactly wat u mean by it not looking bridal enough...... let me just say this, i keep thinking the same exact thing with my dress...... but deep down inside i know the truth, that is that we are both crazy....your dress (the 1st one) and my dress are soooo bridal. Also, you have to remember, if your dress isnt enough for you they could always add a slip so you get the fullness you might decide you want.
LOL, both my mom and my sister have come to that conclusion. That I am just crazy. I love the dress but I keep going back to is it bridal... vs. a bit bigger dresses, traditional or pick ups. When I look at these types I see it bridal then I look at mine and I am like well is it (since it is so form fitting on top and then goes out). And your right, the slip does add some puff.
BTW I tried on the Alexandria dress with a double slip and it still didnt look right. The design of the dress for some reason has approx on either side of your hip/thigh a bunched up piece of crinoline that sticks out really bad with the slip. When I went to Lillettes they told me they can unbunch the crinoline for me but it still didnt look right to me. It looks much better without the slip, so if you are looking for a little more fullness on the bottom, try it with a single slip.

Re: Wedding Dress - HELP
I think if you're worried about a dress overwhelming you, I would stay away from the 2nd one.
