Holding Hands

I saw a couple holding hands walking into the gym yesterday, and I realized that we dont really hold hands too much anymore. We still do sometimes, but definitely not as much as when we first started dating.

When I asked him why he thought we didnt hold hands as much as we used to, his response was 'Eh, I'm over it.'

Do you and DH still hold hands?

Re: Holding Hands

its funny cause i would think that my DH would be over it. but he always grabs my hand...after all these years...when we go out. he probably grabs my hand more than i grab his...cause he just likes to hold hands. its very affectionate like that. sometimes i feel like the guy.

Re: Holding Hands

we do that sometimes too It's like a thing for us, one person links arms and says 'that's how they do around here' and the other says 'we're so authentic' haha sounds stupid but it's just one of those things

Also if we're walking somewhere and DH is in front of me he will stick both hands out behind him for me to grab one for holding hands

Re: Holding Hands

We always do, but I'm a hand-holder. Like with everyone. Whenever I walk side-by-side with anyone, friends, relatives, DH I'm always either locked arms with them or holding hands.

We always hold hands. I never noticed that before. Even in Lowes and Home Depot.

Re: Holding Hands

I would say most of the time. There are times when I try and let my hand free if my hair is in my eyes or my purse his falling off my shoulder and he gets upset because he thinks I am trying to break loose and will squeeze my hand tighter

I dont think I ever held his hand in the gym though

Re: Holding Hands

We haven't gone out together in a while because of our work schedules. But if we do go out, we do. It's habit. I was just thinking about this the other day lol

Re: Holding Hands

I never liked holding hands .. it is too HS for me. Instead we grab and lock arms or he puts his arm over my shoulder and my arm around his waist.
