bridal party gifts ... any ideas?

any ideas for bridal party gifts? I mean I think I am going to give the girls jewelry to wear for the wedding but we have no idea what to do for the guys. Any ideas?

Are they drinkers? One of the first things FH mentioned for the guys was an expensive bottle of liquor and a glass set to go with it. If you want to get personal, you could take the glasses over to Things Remembered and have their names etched in.

I put DH in charge of that, he got them engraved cufflinks and also engraved beer steins....

You have about a year to go, so start looking at various wedding websites for ideas. Also, look through the website thingsremembered.com...might give you some ideas.

are the guys into sports or cars or have other hobbies? What about cufflinks, watches or beer mugs?

we decided to go with something that we think that the guys would use quite often and not just put in a cupboard and have it sit there...we got them all coach key rings and they loved them and most are still using them

For the guys we got engraved flasks and they loved them. They were from Exclusively weddings

we are getting our guys engraved money holders from tiffany's

the best man is also getting the matching cufflinks

our guys arent drinkers or business type poeple. they are poker players.. so we are buying them all a nice pair of sunglasses and fh will treat them to a poker tournamnet buy in in AC or foxwoods.


the sunglasses will be for the tournamnet ( they can look all serious) and they will wear them on the wedidng day for pix... i want one with all the guys in sunglasses with their arms crossed!!

FH got beer mugs made up that says best man w/ an Irish cross and there last name on it, then he purchased nice coolesr from I think LLbean w/ bottle openers on a retractable string..and is going to fill it w/ beer and liquor. HTH

Thanks girls! those are all really great ideas. My FH got a gucci money clip for a wedding he was in and i knew that those would be too much for us butttt I should never under estimate the power of a sale! and also tiffany was a great idea! so was things remembered. Thanks again girls.

Well, you don't have to get all of the guys the same gift. If they all have different personalities, tap into that personality and get something they will really appreciate. For example, if there are any big Yankees fans, you can get them 2 tickets to a game (or a jersey). If he is a big drinker, you could get a nice bottle of _____, and maybe a glass etched with their first initial.
