Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

I did not go, wish I had, but here's what I would love to see on this thread:

Suggestions/hints/tips from past/current CB Brides
Updates from girls who visit, attend tastings, get deals, info. from CB
Questions and answers regarding room layout, color ideas (given the unique decor of the place)

And any other damn thing we need/want to say/know about CB!!!

I love that place so much!!! The FH died when we walked in, and he was like 'this is it' immediately, and oddly enough, my MOH was married there in 1995, and I loved it then . . . . it's only gotten better!

Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

Well lets see.... I am getting married on June 20th in the Normandy room. Same thing happened with me and my FH.

I have booked everything already so if you need quotes let me know.

I went for the tasting and the food was AMAZING! They brought out alittle of the Chateau Briand steak, samon and chicken. Some of the Antipasta and desert. Everything was very good! Tonight we tried the passed food and that was all good as well.

I thought the back as very nice before but not it is like a heaven! It is almost like a getaway spot. It is so nice!

Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

Good to hear. We are having the indoor CH but we can go outside during, because the courtyard is off the CH room and because we're the last of the night . . . . I'm so excited. Does anyone know if they staff the bar outside for indoor/outdoor CH's?

I have all my vendors, but I might go with a DOC if things are too hectic as the date draws nearer.

I'm in the Saturnia for the reception . . . .

Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

My MOH was in that room, and we needed a 200 min for Saturday night Mem Day Weekend to have that room, which we honestly cannot make. We are at 161 invites with a list that is probably larger than it should be. so, we're in the room that fits 200, but our min was only 125! Yay!

Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

We were orig. in your room but fh has such a large family we had no choice but to get the bigger room. We got a 220 min but a cheaper price pp.

Re: Official Chateau Briand Thread

Man, if I had 220 people to invite I'd lose my mind!!! How fun that will be though!! I'm old as the hills, so there aren't as many family members around anymore I wanted 100 people!!! And I'm shocked we came up with 160+
