Moms!!!! I just became an '09 MOB!!!!!!!

Josh just proposed to Donna on vacation in NC, at dinner out with his family, minus his Parents, who didn't go this time, but they were going to call them, after us to tell them the news!!! Haven't heard a date yet. Can't wait to see Donna's ring!!! Mary

Congrats...to your daughter! Well MAry we will be on this site another year!!! I am just realizing that my son will be in full planning mode very soon. His date is August 2, 2009!!!!!
I am still on a very high from Katie's wedding!!! It was so wonderful....I am so very happy!

HI, I don't know about her being on LIW...she works in Manhattan and has really long days. She is busy with her sister's wedding that is going to be in September of this year...so she has not focused too much on her own yet. This weekend is her sister's shower out on the northfork...it is a couples shower, so my husband and I are looking forward to it very much...it is being held on the beach. All the wedding festivities are just filling our calandar this year...it has been wonderful. I am looking forward to being Mother of the Groom...it should be fun!

Hi - I just became a 09 MOB also - this is my first experience - actually my only as I have just one daugher (my youngest Jen 24) and two older sons. WE are both very happy about them choosing each other and I'm ready to kick into MOB mode. One small problem - the couple live upstate about 4 hours away and it's hard to make appts for them for the dj, photographer and dress down here on LI. We saw a beautiful dress in Macy's and trying to find that desinger at a better price - Demetrios - anyone have any ideas? We booked Fox Hollow for Nov 7, 2009 and I'm sad because we probably won't even get to go to the tea because they are always on Wed and she can only come down on week-ends. Oh well...that should be the worst of my problems. I'm looking forward to chatting with other MOB's and hopefully figure out all the little ins and outs of these chat pages. Best of luck to all....

Hi!!! Debi and Fred got married at Chateau La Mer. Debi had April Flowers and they did a wonderful job!! They were able to meet Debi's budget.

They used Thomas Paul for pictures only. And, they used After Hours Music and Entertainment for DJ. Phil Vallaro did a fabulous job!!
