Shower

On Saturday we had my daughter's shower. I decided to have it at a restaurant as I've been at our place in Florida the past few weeks (returning tomorrow night) and it made things easier. We had a brunch which everyone really seemed to enjoy. For favors we filled mason jars with the dry ingredients for chocolate chip cookies and attached the recipe for the remaining ingredients. She received some really lovely gifts and had a great time. That evening her sister arranged for her friends to go out in the city for her bachlorette party. My daughter flew in from NC on Friday and she hopefully returned tonight (her flight was delayed from 9:30 this evening until 1:00AM and Jet Blue is saying departed, but not yet in flight!). Thanks to all of you who offered me some great suggestions.

Glad that you all had a good time. It is so much fun, isn't it. And now that the shower is over, guess what is next???????? The big day won't be long now. the time just seems to fly.
