NEED HELP FAST! INVITATION RSVP DATE

hey girls,

i am ordering my invitations online right now... if my wedding date is Nov 28, 2008.. what should my RSVP date be? My RH does not need the final headcount until 1 week prior.

I say Otcober 28th....or that weekend...gives you time to call people that don't send the card back in time

I would make it at least 1 month before because you will inevitably have late ones (I'm missing 15 cards still ) and you'll have a better idea of what you'll owe the RH. We did July 5th for our August 9th wedding.

My RH is the same way, I think I have to give them a final headcount a few days before. I made it easy, my wedding date is 9/27 and I made the RSVP date 9/1.

Thanks girls!! Thats what I figured. I am actually going to go October 24th since that is my dear deceased grandmothers birthday. Just wanted to make sure that gave me enough time!

funny, i just placed my order 2 mins ago, and called my friend for the same advice. I did 11/1.

I would say make the RSVP date October 28th. Most people recommend setting the RSVP date to about 1 month before.

My wedding is November 7th, but I'm using October 1st as my RSVP date - I just rounded up to the beginning of the month figuring it'd be easier for people to remember that the response is due the first of the month.

You could probably use November 1st for your RSVP date if you wanted to, considering 10/28 isn't that far away from the first of the month.

Make sure to check when your florist needs final count. My florist needs it two weeks before my reception place!!!!!

I would do October 20th. This way you have that extra tme for last mintuers!!! I did the dame thing..techincally I do not have to tell my RH the final count until Sepember 5th. But they don't know that! We made the rsvp date Auguest 15th! I hope that helps!
