Yes....it is close! One week from today!! It is crazy here at wedding central!!! I never imagined the wedding crazies to be this intense!!! I think we are beginnning to wind down (probably wishful thinkiing on my part). We visited the reception hall today and it was looking so beautiful..I have every confidence that they will do a fabulous job. All the other events between then and now are a bit un-nerving!!
The bride has treated me to tickets to see Bon Jovi tomorrow night, I am truely looking forward to having a 'non wedding night' out with her! After that....back to the wedding business!
I am sure it will all go well....thank you for asking Mary. How is Debbie doing and how was her honeymoon? Also, how did she like how her wedding day festivities went?

Hi,Kathy!! Have a great time this week!! Anticipating your Daughter's wedding is a nice kind of busy!! Debi and Fred really had a nice time in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Especially after Fred's suitcase got there!! Deb told me they bought some artwork; I need to ask if I may see it!! She really enjoyed the tour of Santa Domingo, especially it's historical offereings!! They went horseback riding. I know there was one boat ride she did not enjoy; She said something about it being a relatively new thing, and the kinks hadn't been worked out of the ride yet. Apparently, there was a diarrhea bug going around at the resort, and that made her quite ill for a day or so. I believe she ALMOST is finished changing her name. She's awaiting their propics to send thank you notes. We took her wedding gown and my MOB dress, to be preserved/cleaned. Her Church premarital counselor is a dry cleaner, and gave free preservation, to her as a gift! She gave me four reception table cameras to get developed. Can't wait to see what's on those!! But, all in all, she's just back to work mode, and STILL trying to clean up their house from moving and the wedding!! She felt their wedding day went great and had many compliments on the wedding!! And, thank you, for asking!! Have a great day!! I have to go to Donna's today, to let the Sears repairman in, and keep the dog away from him!! My instructions were to be there an hour early, have my cell phone turned on, because he won't come unless he can reach me, tell him to go to the outside basement entrance, and as I go down the basement steps to let him in, I'm suppose to shut the door behind me, thus keeping Kita the Akita, AWAY from the Sears guy!!!!! Oh, and I'm suppose to make sure it's the Sears guy, before I let him in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blessings!!!!!! Mary

Sounds like the honeymoorn was lovely. I am sure they enjoyed the R & R after all the work involved with the wedding. I am sure that going back to work was not fun for them. Wouldn't it be nice if the newlyweds had like a month to be together before having to deal wtih working!!!

I'm not sure, but I heard that way long ago, the custom was for the Bride and Groom to have a year together!! Biblical custom, perhaps?? I know I heard it somewhere!! Re: the Sears guy, Donna was told he would come 1-4, so he came sometime after 3. I looked for him, and headed him off at the pass, telling him to go to the basement door. He must have been ok with Kita!! She growls at people she doesn't like, including Donna's landlord!!!!!! Glad you had a good time at the concert!!!!! Mary
