Ceremony music ideas -- Jewish wedding
Can you ladies please post ideas? We want to go classical, but not too religious. We are just having the DJ play ceremony music, no live musicians.
Thanks!

we decided against classical, but you can always try canon in d which is a popular wedding choice
we are doing 'think of me' (phantom) for the bridal party and 'she's got a way' (billy joel) for me. our band will be doing it on keyboard, with the latter done on the organ setting. it's almost unrecognizable and sounds very weddingy that way.
(instrumental only for both)

For my husband, bridal party, parents, Rabbi and my Grandfather's entrances, we used the Brandenburg Concerto no. 4 in G. I walked in to Pachelbel's Canon. For the recessional we used Beautiful Day by U2.

Maybe Dodi Li? I think thats a popular one.Everyone else walked in to Longer by Dan Fogelberg, and I walked in to Endless Love.

Thank you so much ladies!!!!!I love Pachelebell's Cannon in D, but yet again, wasn't sure if it was one of the songs not allowed at a Jewish wedding.
I can't believe its in 6 days!!!!!!
