A little happy and sad, FI just called me

He is almost done with his training today. He is getting out at 2.

He said he is off tomorrow

and tonight and tomorrow is all about us.

this makes me very happy because he has been working so much we really havent had time together

So he said tonight is bringing home boston market, then he and i are going on a date tonight to see Daredevil. I just ordered the tickets on Moviephone.com.

Then tomorrow its WW in the morning, followed by an afternoon of relaxing and watching movies and dinner at our favorite place to eat.

Sad

because he got his permanent schedule starting sunday he is working 2pm to 11pm off only monday and tuesdays. He is trying to switch his schedule of 11am - 7pm (something like that) off Thursdays and Fridays.

I hope he can get the change

But at least we have tonight and tomorrow all day

Hang in there, Mel! I'm sooooo used to weird schedules - FH has had about 4 different ones in 6 years. It's a tough adjustment at first, but you get used to it....sorry though!

Chip,

I know exactly what you are dealing with. My FH works from 4pm to midnight and is off on Monday and Tuesday.

What we try to do is make sure we do soemthing together every week. We always hang out on Tuesday - Dinner, movies, video.

We also go to church together on Sunday. Make the time that you have together very special!!!

I do agree that you should make that extra effort to make the time you DO have together all the more special.

Hang in there it WILL get better.

I am just so used to having him around, that this is a big adjustment for me. Its definatly going to need some time of getting used too

Monday and Tuesdays our favorite shows are on and I always have to tape it for him, at least that can be our special thing, to watch the shows together
