short amount of time for pictures?

Does anyone have a short window period to take pictures? I am getting married in Babylon at 11:30, then taking pictures at Argyle then my reception begins at 1:30 at CLM. I am not really excited to take pictures at Argyle, but don't have anywhere else to go due to time constraints. Does anyone have any suggestions or in a similar situation?

Re: short amount of time for pictures?

Try to think outside of the box. We are getting married at 3 in Dix Hills, and have to be in Uniondale by 6:15.

We booked a private room at 300 Long Island, the bowling alley, in between the times. The place is exactly halfway between the locations, and will make for some great shots.

Re: short amount of time for pictures?

we are getting married at our hall and will have limited time for photos.
Photos are a priority, but we are going to try and cram as many in as possible.

It was more inportant to FH that our guests were not too inconvenienced.

i took mine at pearsall park witch is like 3 min from CLM off montauk hwy its free to use and not too many people know about it.
also keep in mind ALOT of people take pics at argle you might have to wait....i got to CLM at 1:25 we didnt care too much about the CH but if you do you might cut it close stopping anywhere..........you still need time to get on the boat and stuff too if you are doing that

Re: short amount of time for pictures?

My photog said she only needs about 45 minutes for pictures...ask yours how long s/he will need and you might have more time than expected.

Re: short amount of time for pictures?

good suggestion to check with the photog, he may be able to do a lot of pics very quickly. that's what I am hoping for b/c fh not sure he wants to see each other beforehand.

Re: short amount of time for pictures?

how long is your ceremony? sounds like u have plenty of itme! I am jealous! My ceremony is 530-6 and then its cocktail hour 6-7 and then reception 7+ no gaps at all. we will miss the cocktail hour since we do not want to see each other beforehand.
