Tipping Questions?

Hi Ladies,,

Help me out here..Who am I supposed to tip and who dont I tip?

Matred' gets tipped
Bridal attendant-gets tipped
DJ - what is considered a good tip?
Limo?
Photo/video??

what else...TIA

i think if they are the owners they dont get tipped (of anything not just photo/video)...mine are the owners but ive heard of people tipping them so i have no clue what to do

Yea my photo is the owner but there is also another photo and video guy coming..so i dont know what to do...how much do you tip the DJ??

Florist delivery person $10

I heard that no one person should receive more than $50, besides the Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant.

Don't forget your batender. If you have one. The owners of a company it is optional. But I did read no one is to get more then $150. For example if your limos are 2K you don't tip the driver $200. He isn't working for you the way he would be if you had them for 8 hours. I think I am going to give my photographer $200. He is my friend I can't cheeseout. DJ is going to get $100 Matre de gets $3.00 pp, wait staff is $2.00 pp, bathroom & valet get $1.00 per person/car. I am going to put it all in diff envelopes a week before and giving to my MOH to take care of.

According to Martha Stewart hair and makeup only need to be tipped if the girl doesn't own her own business. Supposedly any business owner doesn't need to be tipped.

I am going to tip the photo and video people...they do not own the company and will be with us allll day.

I still don't know what to do about tipping, and my wedding is Sunday!!

There's a gratuity already added to my bill for the reception hall, so am I done with all of those in-house people (valet, bridal attendant, etc)??

wow i never heard not to tip them more than $150, interesting.

I tipped vendors even if they owned their own business
