OK SO Davids is having a 99 dollar sale perfect for my trash the dress shoot (and yours Aug07OFCbride) So once I do it I cant go back......Im second guessing and I need encouragments. Am I being retarted?>???? Here is my plan 2 hrs in MY dress and veil and 1 hour in a mermaid dress doing a TTD session.........OR should I just do it in my dress. UGH IM SO these days

Stace, for $99, GET THE MERMAID DRESS!!!! Dude, you have the figure for it! I'd even do just 1 hour in your original dress (you already have great pics in it anyway) and 2 hours in the mermaid style!

I think you should go buy the dress at Davids, wear it for the 2 hours then switch over. Worse comes to worse you change your mind and you want to do it in your dress its only $99 KWIM?

Save your dress for the formals and trash a Davids dress. That's my vote!!!!! At least go see what they have!!! I may end up doing that too, although I'm not trashing a thing! lol I just want some day-after pics and I don't want to wear my wedding dress- want something lighter, easier to move in, etc.

Aug07OFCbride: THey have some soft flowy dresses too, Ill look while Im there for you. The sale starts on the 5th and it lasts at least a week I think!!!!!

i did see some online from davids that were flowy that i liked the look of!!(moreso the second than the first). but theyre only avail online. i need to hit that sale to see whats in stores!!!!

trash the heck out of it!!!!

either way, i would definitely get a dress from davids. if you don't use it, you can probably sell it .... and price the sale based on the regular price, not the sale price make a few extra bucks while you're at it!!!

I agree. If you're going to spend the $$ on a new dress, go wild in it. Otherwise its sorta like why buy a new dress? Do the rolling on the beach shots. I have to fidn the ones I loved for you.

LOVE The second dress. Thats what I WNATED!!! but chiffon didnt look rigth on me so I gave up. But I LOVE that dress.

you usually get back in your wedding dress (or a diff one if you cant stand to ruin it) and the portraits are amazing bc nothing is really 'off limits,' bc you don't care if you 'trash your dress.' ppl do them on the beach literally in the water and sand, who cares about dirt, city streets, etc.

I would do it....For $99 to have the piece of mind that your dress will not be ruined is priceless, and it gives you a chance to be playful with another wedding look......I would do it!
