Do you tip photographer for E-Photos

i was just wondering. we are going for our engagement photos tonight. i'm so excited. i wasn't sure if we tip though.

I think most people say they tip if the photographer doesnt own the company.

We didn't because we are tipping him the night of our wedding I don't think it is expected at the engagement shoot.
