Mickey and Minnie Wedding

these two characters mean something two us.. so we want to incorporate them into the theme of the wedding. My save the dates have them on it and our invites will probably be those disney ones. What else can i add without looking childish and tacky?

I'm doing a cinderella wedding myself, but my cousin did mickey/minnie. she had a really cute cake topper and she had the toasting set and cake knife set all with M & M on it. i forget what her favor was, but her FH surprised her and had Mickey show up at the reception and dance with her. very cute! Overall it was very nice and not too over-done. She had the invites and save-the-dates too I think she might have had the table number cards shapped like mickey heads and the table number written in the center. Of course the HM was in Disney. OMG, we are doing a MM theme too!
Currently, this is what we have.
- All of the accessories (cake topper, knife set, toasting flutes) are Mickey and Minnie. Yes, we used the Mickey invites. They are in my album.

- We bought 2X3 acrylic picture frames and are gluing Rhinestones in the corner of each one for the place cards.

- The place cards we are doing ourselves on the computer and will incorporate Mickey and Minnie. (I haven't done them yet but when I do I will post them in my album.)

- The table numbers are going to be simple. I think my FBIL is going to cut out a Mickey head, place it on something that we can stick into the floral centerpiece.

- The program will have a subtle Mickey touch to it

- I am doing my own menus even though the RH is supplying them. I found this great idea on disboards.com. They made the menus in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head. I will find the link and FM you with it.

- Our favors are going to be mini Mickey and MInnie snowglobes from www.paradiesgifts.com

This may seem like a lot but it will all be done elegantly not child like.

Also check out the centerpieces in my album that my Future brother in law did for my bridal shower. He is a closet artist.

I will keep adding pics to my album as we create all the DIY stuff.

OPur Mickey and Miinie will be our cake topper - they're in a bell. We also will have them on the table number table.

I do like the idea of using Mickeys in the menu. And the program. hmmm.

We are doing a Mickey and Minnie theme as well. Instead of table numbers we are having the tables be differeny Disney couples, ie, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Jasmine etc.,

We also found alot of wedding stuff such as a mickey guest book, flower girl basket and pen holder that are very elegant. If you would like me to email you the website just let me know.


We also made our own Mickey and Minnie stamps for our save the dates and invitations, They also have envelope seals that you can have personalized.

if you look in my album, we got our sweetheart table lenox ornaments of mickey and minnie. We were supposed to get married tehre but fh family had issues...

So...we will still have something disney themed!
