09er crashing... anyone have info about Sandals St. Lucia?

We are debating.... Halcyon is less expensive but Grande seems to be more popular.... are they equally 'nice'?

Also, right now they are having a 40% deal.... but we didn't want to book just yet since we arn't 100% decided.... do they run promotions like this every few months?

FH & I are going to Sandals Halcyon in Sept. We looked at all of the options and they are all very similar. Do you or fh play golf ?? If yes, then book the resort w/ the golf course. As far as restaurants go, you can stay at one and go to an restaurant you want - Sandals says their best restaurant is the Pier, which is at Halcyon. Even our travel agent suggested Halcyon - said the price was better- the resort smaller & more intimate. Check out DGoldfarb's pics - she just went there for her hm.

we're going to Regency LaToc . its a nice happy medium and a beautiful resort. I personally like that its got the Hibachi style restaurant on the mountain edge. I booked through Travel Tom...he hooked us up real nice.
