Not 100% sure yet. We are going to see a second florist tonight.Ideally I want pedestals with spring flowers and votive candles sprialing up!

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
You can always add more on when you have a better idea of how many you'll need, so I wouldn't contract for any more than your minimum. They will take your money, but they don't give it back!

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
I have a 150 guarentee, and am inviting 200We contracted for 15 tables. I figured we could always put 12 instead of 10 at a table if we go over the 150, or add in centerpieces if need be. I would go with 15.

Always under-contract. They will be happy to make more money later, they won't reimburse you for things you contracted for and didn't use (or ask to reduce because you don't need).

Misty, if your florist has already done arrangements for your reception site they would know how many you would need. I think 15 might be too low for 200 guests.

As I noted in my post above, we are inviting 200, expecting at least 150....our minimum is 140, and we can seat 10-12 per table.

I contracted for 15, and wound up with 19 or was it 21? We had 225 guests.Anyway, 15 sounds like a good number for you to stick to.

I say order your minumum. Then add if you need more.If your florist says no go to another florist.Cant see any reason for no being able to add on later.

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
I contracted for the minimum and my florist told me I could add more when I have my final numbers.

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
We contracted 22, and the contract has a section about the cost per additional centerpiece

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
I invited 212 and had 150. I had 16 tables but I contracted for 15. Then I ordered the extra one like 3 days before and paid for it on CC. It shouldn't be a problem.

Re: How many centerpieces do you think I should contract for?
You should be able to give them an idea but if you need more it shouldnt be a problem and if you need less, your contract should be adjusted accordingly.

I've found its easier to adjust up than down. You can add on, but you may have to pay for what you contracted for.Welcome New Vendors
