DOC -Vendor Rave- Fantabulous Planning

Hi Girls-

I don't post too much on the boards - but I needed to give a vendor rave that is well deserved.

I went back and forth thinking about having a Day of Coordinator. Most people told me it was crazy to pay someone to be an 'assistant' for the day - but I felt it was important in order for the day to run smoothly. I also wanted my bridesmaids to be relaxed and not have to worry about anything except having fun.

I posted on LIW a few months before my wedding looking for a DOC - Jennifer Sloan from Fantabulous Planning responded and within the first 3 minutes of meeting with her - I knew she was my girl.

Jen took a lot of stress off my plate. She confirmed with our vendors, tipped delivery people and coordinated with both the church and East Wind to ensure that everything was set up and ran the way I wanted it. She was there with us at the Rehearsal and got to know my family, friends and all the important players for the day.
She was with me and my girls as we got ready at East Wind and even went by to see DH and his boys and made sure they had everything. She ran around when the flowers came and made sure everyone had what they needed. She also scooped up everyone for picture time... which is tough when you are dealing with a 20 person wedding party! Because of Jen - my day was much more enjoyable for me and my girls.
Everyone knew to go to Jen the day of (and Not to come to ME!!!) with any questions.

I highly recommend a Day of Coordinator for anyone who wants to enjoy the day and not worry about small details.
Jennifer Sloan is great at what she does and if you are thinking of using a DOC - I'd recommend calling her.

I agree 100% !!!!!!!!!!! I had the pleasure of having Jen with me on my day of too as my DOC. She was awesome!!! So helpful, professional & great person!!!
