Plus sized mom dress-shopping experience.

For those of you who are looking for plus sized shops for dresses for mom I highly recommend Queen of Hearts in Merrick and Omnibus in Babylon. Both stores had a very nice selection and the staff were very pleasant. I was so happy to see my other have a huge smile and feel beautiful after a few other discouraging attempts.

I also went to S u g a r p l u m in Lynbrook and walked out of the store. The saleszilla that 'dealt' with us, (and I did feel like like it was a chore for her to assist us) basically hissed that unless we would commit to buying a dress that day she couldn't be bothered to bring the dresses out from the back.

Being plus size is hard enough without being barked at with ultimatums. Plus sized moms deserve to look and feel beautiful. This place is anything with sweet. Stick with Queen of Hearts and Omnibus. These are the types of stores that deserve your business.

Love it....I must have had the same 'saleszilla'....love that name. What a Biotch I dealt with in that store. I know that Queen of Hearts is a great place and the women there understand plus size women problems. I however didn't find my dress there. I can also recommend Renate's in Lindenhurst and Totally you
