Re: Disney Theme
i think everyone would like us to b/c we got engaged down in Disney....but I've had it lol. All the e-gifts we got were Disney related haha. However, I 've seen some really cute Disney related things pertaining to a wedding...cake toppers, placecard holders, the actual horse drawn carriages, etc, etc

Re: Disney Theme
Hi,I'm doin a cinderella wedding! My FH and I LOVE Disney. he proposed in DisneyLand. got down on one knee on the drawbridge of the castle after the fireworks. I couldn't stop crying. I've always wanted a cinderella wedding, but i never thought i'd finally find my prince. He's letting me do what i want as far as the wedding plans go- just as long as it isn't too girly. Good luck with your planning. If anything maybe we could help each other out with details- i'm having a hard time finding a nice invite that isn't too expensive.

Re: Disney Theme
We are doing a Mickey Minnie themed wedding. We are doing it as elegantly as possible so it doesn't look childish. This is what we have so far.
- All of the accessories (cake topper, knife set, toasting flutes) are Mickey and Minnie. Yes, we used the Mickey invites. They are in my album.
- We bought 2X3 acrylic picture frames and are gluing Rhinestones in the corner of each one for the place cards.
- The place cards we are doing ourselves on the computer and will incorporate Mickey and Minnie. (I haven't done them yet but when I do I will post them in my album.)
- The table numbers are going to be simple. I think my FBIL is going to cut out a Mickey head, place it on something that we can stick into the floral centerpiece.
- The program will have a subtle Mickey touch to it
- I am doing my own menus even though the RH is supplying them. I found this great idea on disboards.com. They made the menus in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head.
- Our favors are going to be mini Mickey and MInnie snowglobes from www.paradiesgifts.com
This may seem like a lot but it will all be done elegantly not child like.
I will keep adding pics to my album as we create all the DIY stuff.

Re: Disney Theme
I had a brown & pink themed wedding however I had alot of disney stuff incorporated with it. We got engaged there, I work at Disney and we're just huge disney fans so we decided to add some things to our wedding to make it 'us'.our cake topper was mickey & minnie
the cocktail hour music was the fairy tale weddings & honeymoon music (string quartet of classic disney love songs)
table numbers were pictures of places in disney that we love and they were pictures that I took on our vacations.
