Are people really this crazy?UPDATE

We had run out of e-party cards (The cupcake ones that says life is sweet) and fsil had bought cards that were cute, purple, with hearts. So, we sent out those cards to those who we couldn't send out the other ones too...
WOuld you believe I have a friend who emailed me the following:

Jenny,
I just wanted to say that since I recieved, possibly your 'List B' invite to your engagement party, ____ and I will not be attending. With all we've gone through to know that I was not considered first on your invite list, just bothers me to no end. I saw Mike's invitation and I know that it obviously was a pity invite.
All the best

I responded with the following:

Check the postmark on both the invites. You recieved them both the same day and have the same RSVP. We ran out of cards and it was too late to order more.

Okay. But shouldn't I have been at least at the top of the list to get the other invitation? I just didn't understand. _____ and I may be away then anyway.

Wow, to automatically assume something like that without even asking you first is kind of nuts. To me that seems like she might be a little insecure about your relationship with her.

Just keep pressing what you said about the cards and hopefully she'll get the picture.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!? WHAT KIND OF FRIEND SAYS THAT????!WOW! In my opinion it is clear she doesn't hold your friendship in very high regard, so if she doesn't come it is her loss not yours! Geez, people are NUTTY!!!

jenny, i freakin love your response!!! that is so funny that she sent you that email..we did the same for our 1st engagement party and the oot got cheapies from target, bc i handmade the others adn the postage was more...nobody noticed, but i dont know what i would have done with that kind of email!

Unfortunately people really ARE that crazy.

trust me...this whole wedding planning process has opened my eyes and its sad to say that people surprise me all the time. And not in a good way....

But I just try to remain positive and not let it get to me..

You know what though, she hadn't even congratulated us oNCE or acknoledged that we got engagd. Granted this is the same friend I posted about a feww months back that I Was relly upset because she was engaged and cheating on her fiance with a coworker.

I emailed it to my mom and she thinks shes just jealous...
Sad though...
