WINE THEME...WHOSE DOING IT.....

Anyone else doing a wine theme? would love some more ideas, since i only have a little bit of time left!

We're doing a Parisian theme and incorporating a wine theme but Paris is all about drinking wine :) But one of the things we're doing is using wine corks as place card holders... I'll attach a pic of what we're thinking of doing. We're in the process of collecting wine corks from family members & friends but you could buy them online and Ebay...

Hi there, great touch with the cork, just be careful when using just one, they are hard to stay upright, we were at the VC when they were trying to set them up for a bride and they were falling all over the place! What you can do is try using 2 or 3, they look adorable, and just amke sure if you aare onlu going to use one, that the slit goes half way through. We had looked into this ourselves and were going to do it, until we found these adorable little wine basket, with a bottle and some grapes holder, so cute. WE have collected the corks too and are spreading them around the cp on each table. Good luck with everything!

We actually cut the bottoms to make them stay because like you said, they were all over the place lol. Yeah I have to make the slit on the top deeper. I just love this idea - love the way it looks That's also a really good idea (spreading them around on the table)

Def. thinking about it! I was thinking is using the same cork idea for the placecards but I was going to maybe stand them up and hot glue a penny on the botton the help them stand better! And cut a slit in the top with an exacto knife for the card
