Even tho we tell people about our LIW friends..

I dont always wish they would log on (if they are wedding planning) because theyd find out more about me than I care to let them know !!!

Has this crossed anyone else's mind, when telling someone about how great this site is ??
Its almost like inviting someone to eavesdrop on all your phonecalls with your girlfriends !

ok, maybe its just me.......

Im wide awake right now, because poor John Anthony was wiped out from his cousins visiting today, so he missed his nap, and slept from 4pm that they left, until midnite, (had one feeding in between there - half asleep) and I just gave him another bottle, and he is WIDE awake, cooing, smiling, and laughing, as John and I are like
'oh boy, its gonna be a looonggg nite....' LOLLL

LOL...i have sooo many friends getting married and i really, really, really want to tell them about LIW website, but i just can't bring myslef to do it!!! i know it's selfish, but i want to be able to say whatever i want here without worrying about who knows me!!

everytime i recommend a vendor from the board to a friend and she asks how i know about them, i say i found out from 'a girl from work'....it's like i'm cheating or something!!!

THats what i say too 'one of those websites'. Im afraid FMIL will come in here, she already knows about the site... looking at halls. So I try not to talk about her just in case..lol Not that i would say anything bad of course..

I told a couple of people and I'm glad this site has helped them.

But overall, I think I would have a hard time telling someone closer to me -- because then they'd be in those conversations that I wouldn't want them to listen. Plus, you start to get the feeling of ownership ... like 'my site' or 'my board' and by telling real close family and friends, you lose that ownership ... right?

i try not to tell anyone about this site. i told one of my friends that just got engaged about this site because she really has no idea where to begin and was asking me a million things. When I had a lot of answers she asked me 'how do you know all of this?' She also stresses easily and is starting her hall hunting so I know how she will get. i told her she needs to go to LIWeddings.com and do searches for halls and vendors and also the ladies on here are fabulous and are very helpful.

So i am hoping my friend does sign on to LIW because I know it will be a great source for her.

I've mentioned it to FMIL several times but she has absolutely no clue how to use a computer. She wouldn't even know where to start to get online. Then she wouldn't be able to remember the website or how to get there. I've told FSIL, who is very computer savvy, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't remember the website, nor does she care. My friends all think I'm nuts. But none of them are engaged either. I told them just you wait.

My friends laugh at me, but the joke is on them because I've made lots of friends!!! Jealous, that's what they are!!!

For now I wouldn't tell b/c I complained about my bridesmaids and I wouldn't want them to know how crazy they made me.

I've told one of my friends about you because she is going to start planning her wedding soon but I generally like to keep my new friends to myself!

Just about everyone I know has no interest in LIW and probably wonders why I am still here since we have been married for four months already. I dont really post too much personal info here so if someone I knows comes in, I wouldn't care. They probably already know what I am talking about anyway.

luckily most of my friends still have dial up, so they dont have the patience to surf
