DELICIOUS quick low fat - low calorie recipe

I saw this a few weeks ago on The Biggest Loser and tried it out last night.

1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 chopped scallions
(the recipe calls for either/or... I did both)
plenty of chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

2 filets of fresh tilapia..

Place tilapia fillets on broiler pan and broil for 5 minutes on each side.
While fish cooks coat frying pan with a spray of PAM. Saute onions, tomatoes, and parsley until onions are tender.
Top fish with tomato onion parsley mixture and serve.

I threw in a dash of chili powder and some ground pepper...

Its DELICIOUS and I'm having my leftovers now

yum yum yum!!!

I'm telling you... I'm NOT a *fish* person, but I'm trying to eat less meat and more fish so I tried it out..

It's so yummy... and takes less than 15 minutes total.. most of the time is spent chopping the onions and tomatoes

Ok I will send it to you when I get home so i get the exact quantiies but its basically drizzle honey then peepper and salt over your deforsted salmon fillets, stick it on a baking sheet with cookign spray and stick into the offen covering it with aluminum foil I think for 20 minutes or until it flakes. Pete and I like ours a little more raw so its not chewy.

DELICIOUS and easy. The honey helps intensify the fish's natural sweetness.

That sounds really good! I love fish, but for some stupid reason, I have this fear that I'm going to make it and totally screw it up. I have to get over that!!

I an NOT a cook... I can make a few dishes by I really don't enjoy the kitchen the way many people do, so I have never cooked fish before.

I was worried b/c the recipe said to broil each side for 5 minuts.. I was worried it wouldn't be 'enough' and I would get sick... so i did it for about 6minutes...

5 minutes is ENOUGH... mine was a little over cooked.

See, that's exactly why I'm afraid of fish. I'm seriously so paranoid when it comes to food so like you, I'll overcook things. I'm not a cook either, mainly because our kitchen is the size of a closet, but I'm all about easy and fast recipes.

LMAO good for you! I do the same thing when DH gets picky. I am not going to eat fatty food just because he is picky so on days he is home and I want to go healthy, he makes himself turkey dogs.
