I need everyone's help and ideas.... (sorry it's long)

for FH's gift!

In the past 6 months, FH and I have talked about him getting a nice watch--one with the chain link band. We both like the way it looks, and he could use wear it on the wedding day.

3 weeks ago, we went looking for watches, to make sure he likes what I pick out. Also, this gives him a chance to try it on and make sure it doesn't pull at his arm hair. We saw the Guess watches where you can change the band to leather. He loves that idea, but all the watch faces are blue--and he doesn't like blue.

So...I found a chain watch with a green face (which is both our fav colors, and it's our wedding color). I bought it on a whim, making sure I can return it just in case. He loves the way it looks, but of course, it pulls his arm hair and tells me 'maybe the watch thing isn't a good idea after all.'

So for the past 6 months, all I've been thinking about is this stupid watch, that he doesn't even want any more. FH is VERY hard to shop for, and now I'm completely out of ideas.

What is everyone planning on giving their FH? We're budgeting around $150. Advice and ideas please!!!!

Maybe some nice cufflinks that he can wear to the wedding? That is what I got for FH

But...

He doesn't like the watch that you posted because it pulls his hairs. And his mom bought him cuff links for Christmas last year.

Does he have a favorite team/player? Jerseys are about $150. Is he semi-religious? Could you get him a medal (my FH wears his St Christopher everyday)

An ipod? A pocket watch? GPS?

oh, the watch I posted has inter-changeable bands. It comes with the leather.

I dont know what he does for a living- but Tiffany's makes a sterling silver business card holder that you could have engraved-- or an engraved money clip? I know these are sort of cliche- but you sound desperate!

My FH received a coach wallet as a groomsmens gift and he loves it. ( he came home a jokes, look now we both have coach) It is slim, holds eveything and he has had it for almost 3 years now and it looks brand new..actually only about $60.00.
