Help on ideas for themes!!!

I wanted to use light green for my BM dresses (not sure on shade yet) and I want to incorporate pink or orange or both into my color scheme. i don't have a theme yet and nothing is coming to my head as far as centerpieces and favors etc.... I 've done dozens of parties with themes for othe rppl but for me-NOTHING comes to mind! My MOH is trying her best to helpme but she doesn't want to seem like she's making up my wedding for me. I want to have a Carribbean flair to the reception cause that is where I am from. So in a short phrase if you have pics and/or ideas or websites I can go to it would greatly be appreciated. My weding is in July but unfortunately it will not be outside. (My heart can't take the risk of a downpour). Thanks in advance ladies!

Hmm let me think. I mean the easiest way to have a carribean flair is with tropical flowers. Let ,e see what I can come up with...

I will link you to a few threads that have tehse colro to get you started but I will try to find the pic I am thinking of that are more specific to you.

Using bright table linens also adds that 'caribeean sumemry flair. We did it and our tabels popped even with simple arrangements,



Try using flowers that are considered tripical; lillies, orchids, etc. Think Hawaii. Thats the easiest tropical look to emulate.

I'm just good at finding things lol. I am the resident 'finder.' I just know how to navigate the net really well-thats all.

Well keep up the good work! And kudos on your wedding. I love the Gerber Daisies! And your album! GORGEOUS!!!! So you mean to tell me those are your pics and you made the album? This is great please explain!

Yes the album because you said you didnt have a photographer so how did the pics come out so well?

LOL No honey. I said I didn't USE the photographer FOR the album. We had a professional photographer of course-its all in m review. But we didnt have him make our album. I am a designer so did my own. That one is crappy though-was just to have it. I am eventually going to redo it ina flushmount professional format.
