Re: Reception halls for a Cozy Winter Wonderland Feel

The Westbury Manor (Westbury) and the Fox Hollow (Woodbury) are incredibly decorated in the winter. The Three Village Inn (Stony Brook) has one wedding at a time and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. De Seversky in Old Westbury is an incredible mansion-beautiful in the Christmas time. Bourne Mansion in Oakdale is also breath taking. If you send me your name and email I will send you several private yacht and country clubs that can also be used-beautifully decorated. I can send you the names of the managers to contact. I will also send you the names of specific people to contact at each of the above.

Re: Reception halls for a Cozy Winter Wonderland Feel

Great suggestions by Stan! A few more with cozy fireplaces, too: Milleridge Cottage, The Riviera, and San Souci! The Metropolitan, George Washington Manor and Oheka Castle are all very nice, too with great reputations, not sure about the fireplaces, though! Good luck!

Re: Reception halls for a Cozy Winter Wonderland Feel

Good Afternoon Anita,
My name is Kerry and I work at Flowerfield, a beautiful catering facility in St. James. I saw that you were looking for a cozy and romantic winter wedding and Flowerfield has what you are looking for. I'd like to give you a little more information that meets your needs: We have 5 fireplaces, our holiday decorations are classy (and make a wonderful background for your pictures) and our grounds are beautifully decorated with many lights which can be viewed from our Atrium and Ballroom, due to the large windows we have in both of those rooms. Our affairs are elegant, our food presentation is esquisite and our service is top notch. Please feel free to view our website and call us to set up an appointment. Good Luck with your planning. Kerry

Re: Reception halls for a Cozy Winter Wonderland Feel

Hi AGV,

I ditto Stan. And add The Harrison House &
The Carltun. You want to look for mansions with the cozy fireplaces and warm wood floors with beautiful carpets and old staircases.

Good Luck! Can I be invited too! It sounds like you are planning a wonderful wedding.

Marie
