Suffolk County OB/GYN Female Recommendations...

Hello there! I am looking for OB/GYN recommendations. I don't mean to sound picky, but I do prefer female doctors.

I currently use an office that has SO MANY doctors, and quite frankly I feel like a number and like I don't count.

Maybe that's the pregnancy talking. Over sensitive these days. However, the first thing they did was call in the wrong pre-natal vitamins AFTER not congratulating me on getting preggo. Not happy with the practice.

Anyway, any recommendations would be great. I work in the Huntington area, but would prefer a doc a little further east. I live out near Port Jeff.

THANKS!

Re: Suffolk County OB/GYN Female Recommendations...

I thought the same thing (that I preferred female doctors), but then I met Dr. Lustberg. He is located in Huntington. You feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable with him and he is a wonderful doctor! He delivered my nephew and it was a very rough delivery for my sister. Please let me know if you need more information. Oh and PS- He is in a practice by himself, will spend however long getting to know you and you never have to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment!

Re: Suffolk County OB/GYN Female Recommendations...

I go to Comprehensive OB GYN in West Islip.

Dr. Helena (known as Lea) squicciarini is my doctor.
She is fabulous.

Also, my sister is starting in her practice with Dr. Birnbaum in Smithtown/hauppague starting in July! Don't know if you can wait that long but she is an amazing doctor! let me know if you need numbers!

I see Dr. Jacquline Armiatta (please forgive my spelling) from South Bay OB/GYN in west islip. She is wonderful. Someone from LIFamiles suggested her to me. I am so very happy with her.
