Cat People

Do your cats, at random times throughout the day, get into this insane frenzy and just run around the room like nutjobs?

YES - and ours is like 13 years old, so she doesn't do much - except the nutjob frenzy every once in a while!!!!

Only if i leave the catnip out. I have an 11 yr old persian so he doesnt play much at all.

Ive had other cats who used to do this. Usually jumping on me and attacking me first and then running a muck.

YES...for example last night at 3 AM she was doing laps over the bed, across my face, around the bed and all over again. But she's so freakin cute I can't complain!!!

my cat goes nuts when me and fh are home. she either wants to be on our laps or is like 'check me out' and runs around my apt like an insane lunatic.

for the past two days she's been on a meowing kick - she won't shut the hell up and i even debated whether or not she's in heat... but if I hold her she's fine so I dont know if it's just separation anxiety.

she is the cutest freaking thing you'll ever see though.

Yours only do that cause they see you coming and cant get away fast enough

oliver does that. It makes me think he's posessed. he also makes love to my pillow. I have a body pillow with a red crushed velvet cover (it was the only one left at walmart) and we call it the pimp pillow. He gets on it, kneads the hell out of it with his front paws while his nose is burried in the pillow with his eyes closed. once he gets off and you touch the pillow, it all wet from his drooling. i have to wash it CONSTANTLY, it's so annoying!

ahhhh yes, i always think there is a bug or something that shes running from/playing with but nope, just being crazy

My two boys go nutters right before we go to bed and in the middle of the night. Plus, they still fight with one another for dominance which is cute and insane at the same time.

I love my crazy kitties!

FHs mom's cat does that sometimes - he's like 12....its like he's chasing ghosts! its freaky! he doesnt do it often but every once in awhile he gets all nutso!

she does that at least once a day, twice on a really energetic day. could be anytime, day or night. and she just looks at you, tailing wagging crazily, then zoom she's off. will stop in front of you again, run, then she tires herself out.

If she is not spayed and over 6 months old she is probably in heat. They will moan and moan relentlessly since its painful for them. Their heat can last about 3 weeks.

i feel asleep on the couch last night and woke up to layla sitting on my head trying to reach the ribbon from FH's birthday balloons ... shes too cute though i wanted to kill her
