Vote in the first LIW Book Club Poll: Paperback vs. Hardcover
Just a suggestion but I would like to submit that we select Paperback Books Only for two reasons:a) Cost is usually lowers in paperback from the bookstore AND paperbacks usually have been out longer and thus are easier to find at discount sites, etc..
b) I dont have room in my purse for a hardcover nor do I want to carry one around with me. Since I do most of my reading on the train, it will quite a pain to have to carry it around in a seperate back.
What do you say? Nah or yea?

Re: Can I make a suggestion? (Paperback vs. Hardcover)
I voted for books that are out in paperback as well. I would even add a suggestion of books that have been out in paperback for at least six months, so that used copies are available.

Re: Can I make a suggestion? (Paperback vs. Hardcover)
stef - love the poll. let's do a search and pick 5 books (in paperback) that have been suggested - maybe from different 'types' of suggestions? and get the poll going so we can start! Also - is it okay to post about another book on this site if we aren't 'group' reading it? Like just to throw it out there for conversation?

Re: Can I make a suggestion? (Paperback vs. Hardcover)
Jenny: In my 'poll for book #2' thread Im keeping a listing of running suggestions. There have been lots of other books suggested but I dont want to be the one to eliminate or select, so the first 5 selections will get pulled.

I am going to start a paperback sharing system in my office so I prefer paperback too.

I think paperbacks are the best way to go, at least we will know they are out there and they are way more affordable.Welcome New Vendors
