September Girls! Summer of Fall theme????

Just wondering what everyone was doing?? I am hoping this Sept. will be as warm and gorgeous as last year. I am probably sticking with a more summer feel for colors and flowers. Feel free to share pics or ideas!

My wedding is the day after yours and since it is techniquely 'Fall' we are going with a Fall theme. My reception hall will also be set up for the fall with all the mums etc. At this stage in the weather game only Mid Novemeber brides could really have a true fall theme. I'm using using golds and burgundy and will throw in a some purples etc. Here are my bridesmaid colors, the bouquet Is I like, my sample centerpiece by Flower Michele

Thanks!!! One of my favor ideas is to have my aunt make her famous Long Island Strawberry Jam in mini mason jars. We're getting married on the north fork so I thought Indian Summer is a good theme!

I am doing a fall meets summer type of theme. I am planning on having the whole spectrum of orange. My bridesmaids dresses will be peach, yet they will be holding bright orange type flowers. I will be in white, holding peach/maybe white flowers. I hope to accomplish a summer meets fall if that makes sense! The pictures are my ideas so far!

Thanks and please tell me yours, as I know that I have loved everything you have done so far. Also thanks for the monogram email, I am still trying to figure out how to do ones that are not circles with just the intials. I swear my powerpoint it so confusing!

I am Oct 25 but I am not doing a Fall Theme.

I'm going to be using gold, navy and light blue.

I really wanted a Summer wedding (and couldnt have one) so I'm essentially pretending its Summer.

My feeling is that October/ Halloween stuff will be everywhere so I'm bringing Summer back!

Technically when I get married its not fall yet...but I think of fall when everyone is back to school...so I don't care I am going all out with a fall theme

We're getting married on the same weekend!!
I am also doing a fall theme. Brown dresses, orange and green flowers and leaves accented everywhere.

I'm on the 14th so I am kind of using both fall and summer. I am using pale blue and chocolate brown.

Mine is somewhere in between but close to summer as my bridesmaid dresses are a dark rose pink but my flowers are orange, pink, cream and green. Overall wedding colors rose pink, celadon green and gold. I think my colors are perfectly 'late summer' :)

I'm not a September girl, but I figured I'd just share some input. I think if you're getting married in Sept, you can definitely get away with doing a summer theme - even if it is the end of Sept, which is technically fall. The weather over the past few years has been so nice and warm. Considering it just turns Fall on Sept 21st, I totally think you can do the summer theme. I would say as you start to get into Oct, that's when you'd want to lean more towards a fall theme. But the whole summer meets fall idea is also great too! Good luck!
