may wedding vs june wedding

i know date has a lot to do with prices, are may weddings more expensive than june? or is it the other way around? does it even make a difference?

For Fox Hollow june dates were a couple dollars more per plate. not sure about other places

it depends on the location, but generally May is the beginning of the wedding season, so it might just be as expensive as June.

I don't think you'll see much of a difference in price between May and June. Certain weekends maybe (Memorial Day and Fathers Day) but I think the biggest difference you'll see is between Friday, Saturday, Sunday and afternoon/evening prices.

I DONT THINK THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE THAT MUCH IF ANY,,BUT DEFINATELY DAYS THAT LAND ON A HOLIDAY OR SUCH ARE USUALLY CHEAPER..

yea, saturday evening in mid-may compared to saturday evening in early june, i doubt we'll see much of a difference. it all depends on how all the flowers are blooming at the venue, if they'll look better in june, we'll push it back.

May is a bit cheaper. My FH originally wanted a May wedding because he thought the weather would be perfect! I was like no way...its still chilly in May. I was pulling for June and even though its usually more money but we got a great deal because we booked 6 months out! We were flexible on our dates and Giorgio's had a cancellation! Woohoo!

we're getting married 5/31. it was $5 more pp to get married the next day on 6/1

I actually just heard on Good Morning America that the only cheap months for Weddings are January, February and March so I would bet that May and June would cost the same.

THERE WAS A GIRL LISA THAT WAS TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO BOOK HER DATE 6/7/8. YOU SHOULD SEE IF SHE GOT A GOOD DEAL.
THAT IS THE DATE I HAVE, THE MIDDLE OF MAY WAS $2 PP LESS. NOT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IN PRICE, BUT MAYBE A LIL WARMER WEATHER BUT WHO CAN COUNT ON THAT.

if you do beginning of may, you might get a couple of dollars off but not much to make a significant difference.. in my case.. may 31 is practically june, so i reaped no such benefits..

and may is the beginning of wedding season, so most places will have the same price for may and june.. but if try switching the days.. that may help a bit!

I believe May to be less expensive but not by a whole lot. If you have your heart set on June I don't think it would make that much of a difference!

i think the season starts end of april or something like that, so i'm not sure you'll see much of a price difference by moving it up to may if that's what you're looking for. it will likely depend on how the individual vendor structures their pricing.

Most of the places I checked out were either the same or cheaper in May.

May and June are about the same, you will find a difference in price but not enough to break you-couple of dollars maybe. Otherwise, my wedding was Memorial Day Weekend and it was so ridiculously hot its not funny.
