MOB Dress ?

How long before the wedding did your mother order her dress? My mom wants to try to lose some weight before she gets one, but doesn't want to cut it too close. Would 6 months be sufficient?

Also, Where did she get it from?

My mom bought hers in November, wedding is in June. Your mom has time and if she does find something now, she has time to lose weight.

My moms a chunka too and shes dieting now also

6 months is more than enough. My mom ordered hers a month before my brothers wedding and 3 months before my wedding. She had to rush alterations for my brothers but other than that she had no problems.

This one might be a record .... my mom went through 3 dresses ... and settled on one about 2 weeks b/f my wedding! Of course I didn't know that she'd changed her mind from the second one, but she found it on the rack, they did priority alterations and it was ready a few days b/f the wedding!

She went through Totally You in Bellmore ... given this experience, I highly recommended them! They never gave her a problem about changing her mind, even after they'd ordered her the first 2!

PLUS, the prices are great & the dresses come in fast.

For my sister's wedding, she ordered her dress approx. 6 months in advance. For mine, she was fortunate to find a dress in Saks and bought it 2 months before my weddings.

My mother ordered her dress this past weekend for May. She has plenty of time...

By the way we got it at Totally you on Merrick Rd.

THey have a huge selection of MOB dresses that are really affordable prices and for every size 0-26

My mother said she just saw some really beautiful dresses in Cashe (sp?) they are in the mall. A bit expensive but very different. The women told her to come at the end of June for my Oct. wedding.
